Against the Grain Ministries is a network of people sharing similar values & a desire to go back to the basics in an effort to regain the ever-fading self- sustainability many of us long for & humanity desperately needs.

America was built from the ground up on Godly principles, which are barely holding us up today. We believe, as Christians, it is our responsibility to help protect our freedoms and the sanctity of life. We must come together so that we can stand apart.

We will do this by:

• shopping locally
• sharing trade skills
• outsourcing our everyday needs within our network of private sector goods & services as often as possible

We plan to invest in ethical opportunities for economical growth. This would help in the effort to filter money back into the areas of society that the government has control over. Education, medical resources, as well as our quickly collapsing & unethical food chain, to name a few. In doing this we can help fund our public goods & services on a local level, allowing us to flourish without the need for government assistance. This would protect us as a people from government overreach. This would protect our children and the generations to come from the corruption within our current government. It would give them the opportunity to go a different, more sustainable way. 

I believe it is time for us to take back America one county at a time. Starting here in the beautiful & plentiful Shelby County, Alabama.
